SHORT STORY LINKS

Short stories have held a place of ironic contention with me.  I have felt that each one is either an exaggerated poem or a drastically shortened novel.  The short story is that great in-between that captivates quickly and moves faster still to an ending.  Still, they are a joy to write.  Most of my short stories were written during my time as a student in nursing school and have a psychological horror or thriller feel to them (it was my psychological rotation).  Other short stories relate to novelsI have written like Dandorstien: Ages or stand on their own like Top Hat or Tragedy of Men that is an allegorical story and is the most literary write I have completed. 

I hope to write more short stories as I continue in my writing career.  They are fun and force a focused use of words and powerfully captivating storytelling.  My favorite is Tragedy of Men though I enjoyed writing all of them.  And I hope you enjoy reading them as well.  If you would like to comment or have a question feel free to email me.
